YOGA in the Lavender Field
Hopenhagen Farm Presents an Evening of Yoga in the Lavender
What do lavender and yoga have in common? Lavender and yoga have been credited with improving sleep and both can create a sense of calm and relaxation in the mind and body. And lavender and yoga have both been around since ancient times.
Join JoAnne Yaddow (E RYT 500 hour certified yoga instructor and owner of Carthage’s Yoga Shala), for a restorative evening of yoga among the beautiful lavender at the Hopenhagen Farm on Wednesday, July 29th, from 7:00-8:30pm. No yoga experience is necessary - just the desire to de-stress and relax in a peaceful setting. The evening will consist of a short meditation and centering while we ease into gentle movements designed to stretch the body and quiet the mind. We will end yoga with Savasana, a deep yogic sleep, where you will be treated to a cooling, lavender-infused forehead cloth guaranteed to enhance your experience.
Cost is $15. Preregistration and prepayment with Hopenhagen Farm are required by July 27th. Payment options include Venmo, credit card, or stop at our shop. Please be assured social distancing will be in effect. You will need to bring your own yoga mat or large towel and wear comfortable, loose clothing.
